Dinah St. Clair, daughter of a music mogul, lives a charmed life in a high-rise penthouse. A mentally troubled childhood friend of Dinah''s, Joe Dobson, breaks out of a mental ward in order to meet with Dinah. His issues unbeknownst to her, Dinah lets him in her home.
